Scott Snyder, Principal
IIBEC Registered Roof Observer, ITC Certified Infrared Thermographer, Haag Certified Roof Inspector
Scott works closely with clients to ensure projects meet their expectations, and are delivered on time and on budget.  He specializes in roof evaluations, infrared testing, and hail damage quantification.  Experience includes multiple Cuyahoga County Public Libraries, Eaton World Headquarters, Ridge Park Square Malls, and many more facilities.

Scott has been with RoofTEC since 2006, and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Cleveland State University. In addition to spending time with his wife and children, he enjoys playing golf, recreational volleyball, and soccer.

Ani Snyder, CEO
Ani works to manage the internal operations of RoofTEC.  She has an extensive background in continuing education, consulting, and management.  Prior to owning and operating RoofTEC, Ani worked closely with a Big Four accounting firm to ensure their continuing professional education requirements were met successfully.  This background has been key to helping the growth of our team at RoofTEC and ensuring our educational foundation best supports our clients.  Ani graduated from Cleveland State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration and a minor in Finance.

Ani enjoys spending time with her husband and two children, recreational volleyball, and relaxing at the beach.

Jerry & Marie Bartels, Co-Founders
Jerry has 32 years of experience identifying intricate roofing, waterproofing, and exterior wall problems, and providing effective and cost-conscious design solutions. He takes an active role in projects, from initial evaluation to recommendations and budgets, and on through the construction phase. He contributes to the roofing community as an instructor for the RCI Roofing Technology and Science classes, as well as quality assurance observation classes, and assisted in preparation of the RCI training manual.

Marie developed and maintained the intricate operating systems of RoofTEC and ensured there was efficiency and professionalism in documentation, reports, and project administration.  In addition, she created the fundamentals, foundation, and core values that RoofTEC operates on to this day.  Marie holds a Bachelor of Science, Liberal Arts Degree from Kenyon College.

After 28 years of owning and operating RoofTEC, they are happily retired. They enjoy spending time with family and look forward to more traveling. Jerry is very involved in an outdoor sportsman club and Marie is active in church and with AFS, an exchange student program.

Kevin Archer, Senior Field Technician
IIBEC Registered Roof Observer, ITC Certified Infrared Thermographer
Kevin holds a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Akron, with a major in Construction Engineering Technology.  He has been with RoofTEC since 2012 and has built a broad base of roofing knowledge, both through field work and continuing education programs.  He has serviced clients nation-wide performing quality assurance monitoring, roof assessments, and infrared surveys.

Kevin enjoys golfing, kayaking, taking his dog hiking, and spending time with his family and friends.

Lina Salillari, Bookkeeper
Lina is the staff bookkeeper and has been on the RoofTEC team for many years.  Her responsibilities include managing the day-to-day bookkeeping for the firm, payroll processing, financial reporting, and much more.  Lina was born in Albania and now lives in Willoughby with her husband and two sons.  She enjoys spending time with family and friends, shopping, and trying new restaurants.

Janice Brooks, Office Manager
Janice joined RoofTEC in 2018, bringing a vast knowledge of accounting, billing, and management of projects and teams of people. She is now supporting the day to day operations of RoofTEC including correspondence, projects, and maintaining the efficiency and effectiveness of our daily procedures. Janice enjoys spending time with her husband and two sons, her dog, and entertaining family and friends.
